English versión

One of the few Soviet planes fell into Japanese hands was a LaGG-3 of the 8th series production. During the spring of 1942 a Soviet pilot disoriented fails to return to base taking land near Chiasmus in Manchukno. At that time this territory was controlled by the Japanese while on paper was an independent state.

After seizing the equipment was repaired and the Japanese began with flight tests to evaluate it. This process was under the command of Major Yamamoto Test Center Army conducted since Mutanchiang airbase in Manchuria. The flying qualities of the LaGG-3 did not please Japanese pilots who faced the A6M Zero Japanese and other devices. The LaGG-3 had worse performance and higher wing loading that made it less maneuverable.
