Experten alemanes: Gerhard Vogt

Realizó un total de 174 misiones en las que derribó 48 aparatos enemigos, todos ellos aliados occidentales incluyendo la destrucción de 8 bombarderos pesados, 21 Spitfire, 6 P-47 y 7 P-51 Mustang. Su primer derribo lo logró el 6 de noviembre de 1941, un Spitfire del Squadron nº 452 de la RAF en Calais. El 24 de marzo de 1942 resultó herido al enfrentarse con Spitfire, pilotando su Fw 190 A-1 (W.Nr. 013) “13 Marrón” , teniendo que realizar un aterrizaje forzoso. El 30 de julio de 1943 derribó a un B-17 pero su Fw 190 A-5 (W.Nr. 410006) “13 Marrón” fue alcanzado por el fuego defensivo del bombardero y se estrelló al aterrizar.

El 3 de septiembre de 1943 su Fw 190 A-4 (W.Nr. 2456) “11 Marrón” fue alcanzado por el fuego de los bombarderos y se estrelló al aterrizar cerca de Romilly-sur-Seine sin sufrir daños, al día siguiente derribó un Spitfire cerca de Le Tréport, victoria número 14, pilotado por el as australiano Flt Lt FAO “Tony” Gaze (12´5 victorias, 4 probables y 5 dañados). Pero no fue el único as aliado en caer bajo los cañones de Vogt, P/O Claude Weaver (12´5 victorias y 3 probables) el Squadron nº 403 de la RAF fue derribado el 28 de enero de 1944 cerca de Albert. El 21 de septiembre derribó un transporte C-47 que se dirigía a Arhem, mientras que el 28 de octubre su Fw 190 A-8 (W.Nr. 175130) “13 Blanco” se estrelló al aterrizar cerca de Venlo por los daños recibidos en combate contra los Typhonn de la RAF. Durante la operación Bondeplatte su Fw 190 D-9 (W.Nr. 210176) “13 Blanco” (5./JG 26) se estrelló cerca de Köln debido a los daños recibidos por los cazas de la USAAF durante una patrulla. A lo largo de su carrera sólo voló con el  JG 26.
